The European Union Delegation to the UAE held a high-level panel discussion aimed at accelerating gender equality and women’s empowerment and sharing best practices for fostering career success among women in the workplace. The event entitled “The Confidence Factor: Cultivating Self-Belief and Resilience” took place on 22 June at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, in Abu Dhabi. Government officials, ambassadors, business leaders and representatives from the civil society from Europe and the UAE, came together for an engaging conversation that facilitated the sharing of knowledge and experience. Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan Al Matkoum delivered a keynote address sharing her experience and commitment to advancing gender balance in aviation. H.E. Andrea Matteo Fontana, EU Ambassador to the UAE, thanked her highness for her participation and inspiring messages.
