With every page, you’ll meet a new and inspiring woman, from the daring balloonists of hundreds of years ago to the first women to pilot planes, all the way to the trailblazing women journeying into space today. In this book, you’ll learn about many of these women, including Amelia Earhart, Lotfia Elnadi, Raymonde de Laroche, Aysha Alhameli, Sally Ride, Fiorenza De Bernardi, Rayyanah Barnawi, and many others.
This book is divided into four sections. Each chapter in those sections will tell you about a different heroine of the skies from all over the world:
The first section will reveal the fascinating stories of women before the 1920s. They were the first pioneers who risked their lives and paved the way for all future aviators.
The second section will tell you the stories of some of the most important female pilots from around the world. They not only set amazing records in their countries, but they also became inspirations for women everywhere.
The third section, which is maybe the dearest to me, will introduce the many Arab women pilots who made history in our region and showed us what women are capable of.
The fourth and final section will take us all the way to space, where we will meet those women who journeyed beyond Earth and showed us that the sky is not the limit – only the beginning!
