The inaugural Dubai Police International K9 Show, held from April 18 to 20, 2025, marked a significant milestone in law enforcement collaboration and canine excellence.

The event brought together global K9 units to demonstrate advanced capabilities in detection, search and rescue, and public safety operations.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah visited the various educational workshops, interactive sessions, and community activities, which aim to foster public engagement and give a platform for international knowledge exchange in police dog training and deployment.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah visited Al Ruwaya Camp where she gave a lecture for the trainees. During the lecture, Sheikha Mozah discussed “Women in the Military Field” and addressed challenges throughout her career, followed by a Q&A with the attendees.
 
At Al Ruwaya Camp, her Highness met with Colonel Ali Al Mehairi from the Dubai Police Airwing – Brigadier Dr. Sultan Al Jamal, Asst. Commander-in-Chief for Academic & Training Affairs – Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Omar Al-Tharief, Director of the Specialized Training Department – Colonel Abdulaziz Mohammed, Director of Student Affairs Department.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan Al Maktoum visited the Dubai Police HQ where she was taken on a tour to the Command & Control Centre, the General Department of Forensic Science and Criminology and the Government Initiative Centre. 

Sheikha Mozah had the opportunity to meet His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri of Dubai Police HQ, and Colonel Ali Al Mehairi from the Dubai Police Air Wing.

The 2nd edition of the WE Convention (Women’s Empowerment Convention) was held on the 20th and 21st of April at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai.

During Sheikha Mozah’s keynote speech on the 20th, she addressed the audience by sharing insights into her achievements, delivering the message: “Your altitude is only limited by your attitude”.

Throughout the event, she had the opportunity to meet with several influential figures, including Mila Smart Semeshkina, the Founder & President of the WE Convention, HH Sayyida Basma Al Said, a Mental Health Specialist, and H.E. Dr Maryam Mattar, the Founder & Chairperson of the Genetic Diseases Association, among others.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Marwan Al Maktoum attended the World Police Summit 2024 in Dubai. During the event, Sheikha Mozah had the opportunity to meet with HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri.

On the 27th, there was a Welcoming Reception at the House of Commons, where a group of pioneering Arab women gathered ahead of the inaugural Arab Women’s Summit organised by the London Arabia Organisation.

A Gala Dinner was held on the 28th at the Jumeirah Carlton Towers to honour trailblazing women for their remarkable achievements.

On the 29th, the inaugural Arab Women’s Summit was held at Lancaster House. During the event, Sheikha Mozah gave a speech where she shared insights on innovation in the Arab world, exploring possibilities and opportunities across industries. Her speech also discussed avenues for Western businesses to be able to venture into this dynamic market.

During the summit, Sheikha Mozah had the privilege of meeting with several notable figures, including The Rt Hon Theresa May MP, Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict and Minister of State (Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, United Nations and the Commonwealth), as well as Flick Drummond, MP, Co-Chair of the Women and Work APPG and Member of Parliament for Meon Valley.

Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Marwan Al Maktoum successfully launched her debut children’s book “When She Took to the Sky” at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature on the 3rd February 2024, in the presence of esteemed members of the UAE government, and Dubai Police. The book features stories about prominent figures in aviation across the region and the world and aims to inspire young women, and children, who seek to enter aviation. The launch was followed by a moderator session with Deema Al Alami and delved into more detail about the key messages of the book and Her Highness’ journey as a young aspiring pilot to Dubai’s Royal female police and commercial pilot. Following the moderator session there was also an interactive book signing.

The launch saw the attendance of prominent figures such as – Colonel Ali Al Mehairi from the Dubai Police Air Wing, and His Excellency Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the GCAA. Her Highness Sheikha Mozah also met with His Excellency Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of Youth, one of the first 2 astronauts from the UAE AND the first Arab to serve on the International Space Station for a 6-month mission, and Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council.

At the Global Sustainable Aviation Forum for COP28, Sheikha Mozah delivered a message on the critical importance of sustainability in aviation. Emphasizing the need for collective action, she discussed how each individual’s efforts can contribute to a better future. Following her address, she had the opportunity to engage with figures in the industry, including Carol A. Petsonk, the Assistant Secretary for Aviation & International Affairs at the US Department of Transportation, as well as James A. Meltz, the Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Transform Alliance.
